coding education via the internet
There is a fee for premium content.
In the last few years, I’ve made over $250,000 from blogging, and I know that if you have an in-demand skill like yours, you can start a blog and make money, too.
A quick tip for getting started with your programming blog:
Write SEO-friendly content with relevant keywords to improve your page’s search engine ranking. Make sure to focus on both on-page and off-page SEO optimization for the best results.
Your website’s traffic will increase as a result of this. And the more people who visit your website, the more potential customers and clients you’ll attract.
The following is the second quick tip:
To convert potential readers into paying customers, create lead magnets. You can learn how to do it right here.
What is the most appealing aspect of starting a profitable blog? Initial startup costs are low.
You can start your blog today for less than ten dollars, my friend. It’s a good idea to start with a simple hosting provider like Bluehost. It’s very easy to get started, and you’ll get a free domain name as a bonus.
2. Running your own business
Freelancing. It isn’t just for scumbags who don’t want to work.
The gig economy has completely changed the game for many skilled workers, including you and your brilliant programming mind.
Simply put, clients can access your programming services via the internet.
Examine a few different freelancing platforms to see which one best fits your requirements.
TopTal is without a doubt the best for coding. Freelancers earn an average of $60-$115 per hour working for some of the world’s most reputable brands.
The best part about freelance work is that you can work from wherever you want and set your own hours.
As you take on more jobs and earn rave reviews on freelancing platforms, you’ll be able to increase your income levels…aka charge top dollar.
Go to FlexJobs to find immediate freelance work.
Job boards and social media sites like ZipRecruiter are also good places to look for programming jobs. Directly pitching to clients in need of a programmer is a great way to secure high-paying clients.
Do you intend to make money on the internet?
You’ll also learn the exact steps I took to earn over $10,000 per month online so you can do the same.
3. Develop Apps
Was there ever a time when you couldn’t get your hands on an app?
Unfortunately for the baby boomers, this is true.
Luckily for you and me, there are a slew of apps that aren’t going away anytime soon.
Create and monetize an app to make the most of your programming skills.
If you know Objective-C or Swift, you can make a useful iOS app in a matter of hours. Then download it from the App Store. You can then sell it to the general public through various forms of media.
You can sell your app for cash on Flippa via an auction or classified ad once you’ve finished developing it.
This is something I’ve done on several occasions. Because it is the world’s largest marketplace for buying and selling apps, Flippa is fantastic.
4. Develop a WordPress Plugin or Theme.
Nearly a quarter of all websites on the internet use WordPress. If you create useful WordPress plugins and themes, you can make a lot of money.
WordPress plugins are in high demand, my friend. Seriously. Coding for a living is a fantastic way to earn money online. This can be achieved by using
Developing WordPress applications for a large audience
Small modules such as plugins and themes are examples of what can be created.
To monetize the plugin, you can make it premium and charge users directly… You could also make it free and monetize it with advertisements and donations.
5. Become an online instructor and sell your courses online.
The market for online education is enormous. It is expected to reach 132 billion dollars by 2023.
A billion dollars, to be exact. That isn’t a blunder.
Make the most of the situation. A lot of people want to learn how to code. Why not teach them yourself…over the internet?
Starting a blog (see above) and posting some free tutorials to establish authority and traffic is the best way to reach out to potential customers. Then try to persuade them to register for your class.
I’ve got you covered if you don’t want to start your own blog or platform.
You can get paid to teach coding if you position yourself as a computer science instructor.
- Online coding tutoring platforms
- Bootcamps for programmers
You can also use these platforms and their existing students to teach coding and Python:
Udemy: Start earning money with coding right now by signing up for a free account.
Join Coursera to gain the best coding experience while also earning money.
At CodeAcademy, you can learn and teach how to become a full-stack web developer.
6. Take part in coding contests.
If you’re anything like me, you’d rather watch your competition on television.
But, aside from watching sports, I enjoy earning money by doing things that I’m good at.
I’m sure you feel the same way.
So, my new programmer pal, I’d like to introduce you to coding competitions!
Coding competitions are an excellent way to earn money for your coding skills. Most contests award large cash prizes to the winners.
There are, however, undoubtedly more.
There are three types of competitions:
- Data science is the study of data.
Topcoders compete in single-round tournaments in which they solve real-world problems for 2,000 global customers, emphasizing both skill and fun.
Why not try your hand at a few different contests and see what happens?
Just like in boxing, you get paid ($$$) if you win.
Competitions like Topcoder provide online programmes where networking is important in addition to a nice cash injection.
So you get to compete and win big not only in the competition, but also in the competition…
You get to see and learn from the code of other top participants, as well as mingle with big companies looking for top coding talent.
In many ways, it resembles professional sports. With the exception of running, there will be more typing and less running.
7. Make Your Own Personal Website
A personal website can be used as a large billboard to display your coding skills.
Your website should have a professional appearance that reflects your skills and personality. It’s a personal branding technique. It’s also a good way to show off your coding skills.
To establish your authority in the field, share your wicked smart programming tips on your website. Create a blog section on your website to provide visitors with coding-related content.
Remember to respond to visitor questions and comments on a regular basis. This type of interaction makes you more accessible in the coding circle. It also helps to build trust, which leads to an increase in revenue and clientele.
Once you’ve established your personal brand, trust, and authority, you’ll be able to charge hourly rates for your online services…
or, better yet, high project rates
If you have a website, you can also make money through Google Adsense, advertisements, sponsored ads, affiliate marketing, and other monetization strategies.
You can get started with Bluehost for only $3.95 per month.
8. Develop video games
If you know how to code, you can make money developing games. It is possible to make a lot of money developing games. Create and sell games for Android and iOS.
You can sell your games online using platforms like Fupa, which is a great way to do so.
The FGL app management portal is also quite nice. It oversees app development and ensures that they grow and succeed, allowing you to keep earning money as a game developer.
9. Become a Python programmer by learning the language.
While the majority of people reading this might think this is a job for snake breeders, you and I both know that a Python developer is one of the highest-paying jobs available today.
If you have expert Python knowledge, you can earn up to $100k per year as a developer.

So, if this is you, what are you waiting for? Get out there and earn a living!
10. Look for a position as a Product Manager.
In this position, people with coding skills can make a lot of money.
A product manager in the field of coding is in charge of
identifying a demand in the market
in search of new features
demonstrating the need for certain products to be developed
Companies are looking for product managers who are proficient in Python and can generate data to aid in decision-making.
Python skills can help with automation, analysis, and reporting, so a product manager can help with analytics without having to hire another expert.
Snapchat and Crunchbase are two companies that are looking for Python-skilled product managers.
11. Make a career out of data analysis.
Data analysts use the Python programming language, which is also used in machine learning.
Several organisations, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Bloomberg, are always on the lookout for AI and data analysts with Python experience to help them sort through massive amounts of data.
Python libraries like Scipy and Pandas come in handy when you need to complete such tasks.
12. Look for jobs in a bank as a quantitative analyst.
We live in a digital era and a digital universe.
As a result, a working knowledge of Python is now required of some bank analysts.
Banks are looking for people who can code in order to cut costs and boost profits. If you are a coding expert, you can work as a quantitative analyst for financial data.
You’ll also make some decent money along the way.
13. Pursue a career as a data journalist.
People are enthralled by tales. What if you could weave a compelling tale out of facts and figures?
It’s a gold mine, my friend.
A coding expert who is fluent in Python is in high demand. You can search through large amounts of data, analyse it, and see the results visually.
In a world where news travels at the speed of speech, it’s no surprise that we need more data journalists.
Python software libraries include Pandas, which can be used to sort and process data as well as identify trends; matplotlib, which can be used to create charts; and BeautifulSoup, which is designed for screen scraping.
(You can start a blog and share those fact-based stories with the rest of the world, just so you know.) Make a suggestion. (With a wink and a wink, of course.)
14. Promote yourself in business directories.
It’s sometimes necessary to return to the basics.
List yourself as a Java or PHP programmer in a business directory. To attract work inquiries from potential clients, include your skills in your profile.
15. Create a YouTube Channel of Your Own
YouTube is where it’s at!
For starters, it is one of the world’s most popular websites. Second, increasing the number of subscribers to your YouTube channel is a surefire way to make money.
Make videos that demonstrate how to code, and stick to them. The more subscribers you have, the more views you’ll get… and the more money you’ll make.
Look for a YouTube partner programme that will pay you a percentage of ad revenue generated by your videos.
16. Write an e-book and promote it.
Selling coding tips ebooks is another way to make money. You can share your ebook on social media, sell it on your website, or sell it on Amazon once you’ve finished writing it.
Publishing an ebook is simple, and you can use free publishing platforms like Kindle Publishing…a.k.a. Amazon.
You have a plethora of options for making money online as a programmer. You can make a full-time living by using any of these methods for getting paid to code.
But, like any other job, you have to put in some effort, figure out what you like, and make it work for you.
